Hey Digital (Kick) Ballers!
Need a fun activity that doesn't involve staring at a screen? You're in luck! Image Space Media is hosting a kickball tournament for NYC-based startups this Friday, June 11 for Internet Week.
Please plan to arrive at Chelsea Park at 8pm so we can get the ball rolling around 8:30 (pun intended). If your company already has a team, please appoint a captain and email us your team name and a headcount (no less than 10 players). Team shirts/uniforms are welcome but not required.
If you aren’t part of a team but would still like to show off your kickball skills, shoot us an email at kickball@imagespacemedia.com or publicly announce your athletic ability on the event’s Facebook wall so we can find you some teammates.
We’ll play until around 10:30pm, at which point we will announce the winning team and give out the highly esteemed SPAM Awards. Following the awards ceremony, you’re all invited to the after party to hydrate after the big game. The party will be at The Half King (www.thehalfking.com), located at 505 W 23rd St near 10th Ave. Say you’re with the Kickball Tournament & Image Space Media and you’ll have access to our private room and $4 draft beers all night.
If it rains we won't be rescheduling the kickball tournament, but will instead have an all-things-interweb trivia night (bar TBA).
