ThinkSocial at the Internet Week HQ Theater is hosting a groundbreaking one-day conference called The #Promise, taking place June 10 during Internet Week in New York.

The conference will explore how social & mobile media are empowering corporate citizenship to create social & environmental change.

The #Promise features a selection of world’s most recognizable and innovative brands, and other business, technology and civic leaders. At the conference, leading companies — including presenting sponsor PepsiCo — will come together in an unprecedented effort to each make their commitment to society and the planet.

#Promises are objectives that have meaningful and measurable business and social dimensions, and leverage digital media.

Companies will speak about how they are using social and mobile media to carry out commitments and provide predictions for the future in corporate social responsibility.

Each presenter will discuss specific strategies that have allowed their organization to leverage the collaborative new media environment toward achieving their objectives.

In addition, the conference will feature keynote lectures by yet-to-be-announced speakers, and panels curated by some of today's most important intellectual platforms, including TED, Fast Company & GOOD Inc. The panels will include presentations and discussions focused on how companies are using social and mobile media to create value for consumers, society and the planet.
